Jake Strickland, a 3rd degree black belt has been training in the art of Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do since 1998 under Master Young S. Won. He has been assisting and instructing under Master Young S. Won in Columbus, Georgia since 2002.
During his 13 years of martial training, Mr. Jake Strickland has traveled all over the U. S. A. competing, demonstrating, and furthering the knowledge of his martial arts skills. He has learned and maintained several weapons and forms of different martial arts.
Mr. Jake Strickland is a member of the world-renowned and prestigious K. I. C. K. Team. Mr. Strickland has won numerous World Championships in forms, weapons, and sparring. He has won numerous recognition in NASKA, NBL, and IKC (sports martial arts leagues). He was 2002 Best All Around Youth Competitor of the Year. He has appeared on several ABC Regis and Kelly Shows and traveled to Hong Kong and made a movie produced by Jackie Chan. Besides competition Mr. Strickland enjoys doing KICK Team demos and teaching martial arts to others.
Today, Mr. Strickland applies experience he gained from Master Won and martial arts tournaments to teach and instruct classes.
Mr. Strickland likes to spend his spare time with his family, church, training and KICK Team Demos.
